Industrial Parks Digest: New Factory and Infrastructure Investments — June 2026
Investment in new factories and engineering-transport infrastructure was the leading theme for Ukraine’s industrial parks in June. Here are the most notable developments from the past month.
Energy and New Production Facilities
Kovel Porto Industrial Park (Kovel, Volyn region) signed a cooperation agreement with the Polish company HANPLAST Sp. z o.o., which will invest in the KovelEnergoPort project. The project includes a 5.99 MW solar power plant, a 40 MWh energy storage system, and roughly 5,800 MWh of electricity generation per year, with solar panels installed on the roofs of industrial buildings.
Construction has started on a new feed mill with an elevator complex at the “Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub” park (Ostriv village, Ternopil region). The facility, with a planned capacity of 400,000 tons of feed per year, is expected to launch in 2027, with investment totaling UAH 1.5 billion.
The BALEX Group, which produces ingredients for the food industry, has begun construction of a new production and logistics complex at the “Bila Tserkva” industrial park in Kyiv region, with planned investment exceeding $15 million.
Infrastructure Development
Volmax, the managing company of the “Mensky” industrial park (Mena, Chernihiv region), has initiated construction of a railway access line to the park. The project is currently undergoing environmental impact assessment and public consultation.
The “Misto Skla” (“Glass City”) industrial park received UAH 8.3 million from the government for gas network construction and UAH 26.3 million for expanding the electrical grid. The “Smart Tech Industry” park received UAH 5.5 million to bring in external gas and water supply networks. In both cases, funding was provided on a 50:50 co-financing basis, conditional on building at least 5,000 m² of industrial space and attracting at least two residents.
Private enterprise “Teplychne” (Nosivka village, Chernihiv region), managing company of the “Nosivski Hospodarstva” park, is negotiating with an investor interested in building a deep corn-processing plant.
New Parks in the Registry
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine added three new sites to the Register of Industrial Parks: “Agroinnovation Hub” (22.9 ha, Uman community, Cherkasy region), “Horokhiv” (13.8 ha, Lutsk district, Volyn region), and “Terezyne” (14.9 ha, Bila Tserkva community, Kyiv region).
The Kamianets-Podilskyi city council approved the concept for two new parks in the city — “Kamianets” and “Podillia.”
Industry Events
The “Bila Tserkva” industrial park hosted the largest business forum of 2026 in the sector — “Industrial Evolution: Manufacturing Powers the Economy.” Additionally, the English-language edition of the “Industrial Parks of Ukraine” magazine was presented at the URC conference in Gdańsk, Poland.
