“BIOSENS” Industrial Park, Cherkasy Region

The ‘Biosens’ Industrial Park is a new private greenfield industrial park covering an area of 29 hectares (also reported as 29.7 hectares), located in the village of Khutory in the Stepanivka community, Cherkasy District, Cherkasy Region. The project was officially registered in the state register on 26 August 2025 for a period of 30 years. It was initiated by Fitolan LLC, and the managing company is Sens Consult LLC. Technical support for the project is provided by an international UNIDO team as part of the Global Eco-Industrial Parks Project (GEIPP II – Ukraine).

The park’s concept is focused on creating a major hub for agricultural processing, food production, logistics, agricultural technologies, energy and feed production. In particular, construction has already begun on the site of Ukraine’s first French fry production plant, operated by ‘Field Group’, with a capacity of up to 60,000 tonnes. Overall, the project is expected to attract nearly 970 million hryvnias in investment and create around 500 new jobs.

The site is equipped with high-capacity utility infrastructure: electricity supply of up to 30 MW/h, water supply of 95.8 m³/h, and gas supply of 7,697 m³/h. The city of Cherkasy is prepared to provide the site with additional essential utilities (water supply and sewerage). Its advantageous geographical location in the centre of the country creates ideal conditions for serving the domestic market and for business relocation.
